‘Cause sometimes it seems like this world’s closing in on me and there’s no way of breaking free and then I see you reach for me.

Good morning.  We went to the ballet on Saturday.  It was quite lovely.  We went to see Tyla Tharp’s The Princess and the Goblin.  The main girl totally looked like Felicia Day to me…you know, at least from that far away.  It was pretty short…only an hour and a half and we got there with no time to spare.  Anyway, we all liked it a lot.  I started feeling kinda uggy on the way home, so Chris and Em left around 6 to go to dinner and then to the Father/Daughter Dance.  You know, the creepy one?  But they had fun. Look how cute they are:

I got Em this cute dress from Target, but it was sleeveless and it’s been pretty cold lately, so we went for the slightly less cute version with a long-sleeve shirt under it.

Sunday we didn’t have much going on.  We went to pick up our GS cookies in the afternoon, but other than that, we didn’t do a whole lot most of the day.  In the evening we went out for hibatchi for Valentine’s Day.  We are big fans of not doing stuff when it’s crowded, so we celebrated with dinner early.  It was nice and I ate entirely too much.

This morning Em was a PILL when she got up.  She evened out a bit before it was time to go, but she’s so not a morning person.  Today I’m going to her school for their book fair.  It’s also laundry day as well as grocery day.  Fun.

We were supposed to start hearing from her soccer coach on Friday, but we still haven’t heard anything.  Not sure what the deal is.  Practice is supposed to start this week some time.

My Kindle’s still being an asshole.  Yesterday it wouldn’t start twice and I had to reset it.  Then it randomly restarted 4 times.  Seriously?  Gah.
