Dragon*Con

It’s that time of year again.  It’s Dragon*Con time.  I can’t quite pinpoint it, but I’m not as excited as I usually am.  I usually LOVE poring over the schedule, trying to fit it into my schedule to see as many of the celebrities I’m interested in as possible.  This year, it took me a fraction of the time.  Anyway, here’s my schedule.  As usual, the likelihood that I’ll actually attend the panel decreases as the day wears on.  Oh, and if you’ve got your own handy dandy schedule, I don’t always use the panel names.  I renamed them to make more sense on the topic to me, or to just be the guest names.

Friday:

  • 10am – John Barrowman, Kai Owen (Torchwood)
  • 11:30am – Craig Parker, Billy Boyd, John Rhys-Davies (LotR)
  • 1pm – Nada
  • 2:30pm – Nichelle Nichols (ST: TOS)
  • 4pm – The Guild (Entire Cast)
  • 5:30pm – Downton Abbey
  • 7pm – Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones)
  • 8:30pm – The IT Crowd (discussion)
  • 10pm – Buffy Horror Picture Show (Probably not gonna happen)

Saturday:

  • 10am – Brit TV You Should Be Watching (or the Parade)
  • 11:30am – Nial Matter, Colin Ferguson, Felicia Day (Eureka)
  • 1pm – Grant Imahara (Mythbusters)
  • 2:30pm – Robert Picardo (ST:V)
  • 4pm – Jaime Bamber, James Callis, Katee Sackhoff (BSG)
  • 5:30pm – Rose McGowan
  • 7pm – Coming Soon (discussion)

Sunday:

  • 10am – Sam Trammell, Carrie Preston, Joe Manganiello, Nelsan Ellis (True Blood)
  • 11:30am – Jonathan Frakes, Michael Dorn (TNG)
  • 1pm – Adam Baldwin, Jewel  Staite, Sean Maher (Firefly)
  • 2:30pm – Reading Rainbow – LeVar Burton
  • 4pm – Vaginal Fantasy Live
  • 5:30pm – Alice Cooper
  • 7pm – Game of Thrones (discussion)

Monday: (let’s be honest, we probably won’t come Monday)

  • 10am – Geek & Sundry
  • 11:30am – Reluctant Reads (discussion)
  • 1pm – American Horror Story (discussion)
  • 2:30pm – Game of Thrones (discussion)

There ya go.  D*C has this handy dandy app again this year.  They’ve added a Friends option so you can get your friends’ schedules in there too.  It’s great except that some people don’t have smart phones.  Or like me they’ve got a shitty smart phone.  I’m going to use the app on my iPod.  It worked last year.  Sure I have to be connected to wifi to get updates, but meh.  It works way better than my sucky phone.

As usual, we’ll bring games (and plan on picking up a few while we’re there), though who knows if we’ll get to play them.  We got Ticket to Ride because it looked like fun on Tabletop.  Em’s obsessed with it.  We plan on picking up Castle Panic and Tsuro while we’re there.  We’ll also bring Pandemic.  Yay nerd fun!

  1. Great points altogether, you just gained a logo new reader. What may you suggest about your publish that you made some days ago? Any positive?
